One Drop of Blood

Drawn At-Home

Dozens of Tests

No Prescription - $20 a Month

Initial Panel of Tests

The initial panel of blood tests is anchored by high-sensitivity cardiac troponin which is highly associated with sudden cardiac death (p<.0001) - the number one single cause of death in the USA. The blood test panel includes HbA1c (diabetes), Vitamin D, cholesterol (heart disease), PSA (prostate cancer), high sensitivity C-reactive protein (heart disease and systemic infection), and others that are useful for engaging users in the active management of their health.

Biodrop is leading the development of affordable at-home blood testing based on digital waveform mass spectrometry. Mass spectrometry is the gold standard for blood testing…Biodrop aims to make it the workhorse of blood testing. BioDrop is a monthly subscription blood test for which the user collects its blood sample from a finger-prick at home, drops it in the mail that delivers it to the Biodrop lab that tests the blood sample using digital waveform mass spectrometry for a panel of about a dozen blood tests that are clinically relevant and user actionable that are reported to the user on a smartphone app. The subscription is priced for mass market accessibility at about $20 per month.

Biodrop blood testing is poised to transform the healthcare industry by making information locked up in blood readily accessible to users. It is an inexpensive means to provide an essential level of healthcare to every person on earth.

Making Mass Spectrometry the Workhorse of Blood Testing

BioDrop is an inexpensive means to provide an essential level of healthcare to every person on earth. Digital waveform mass spectrometry is based on scientific work done by Dr. Peter Reilly at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Washington State University (Hoffman, N.M., Gotlib, Z.P., Opačić, B. et al. Digital Waveform Technology and the Next Generation of Mass Spectrometers. J. Am. Soc. Mass Spectrom. 29, 331–341 (2018). https://doi.org/10.1007/s13361-017-1807-8).

Biodrop blood testing is poised to transform the healthcare industry by making information locked up in blood readily accessible to all.
